Bespoke Handleless Painted

Here in this imposing townhouse close to the perimeter of Devonport Park is a recently installed modern, hand painted kitchen, designed to contrast beautifully with the client’s traditional ‘sunshine’ dining area. We used different materials for each element of the kitchen and really love the combination of textures and colours that ensure the whole room feels warm, as well as fulfilling the client’s contemporary brief. A tiled floor just wouldn’t have given the same contrast, so an engineered Oak floor was selected for its warm tone, as well as its unusually large length and width – which work really well in this generous open-plan space. ‘Shark-Nose’ granite worktops bring the surfaces to life which along with the clever use of lighting, gives it brightness and an amazingly spacious air.
